With more demand of barbecue items and salads ranging from exotic to fruity, one always find themselves craving for new ideas to accompany their well cooked barbecue chicken or steak. Keeping the busy schedules in mind, I came up with this hearty and nutritious salad that is everyone’s favorite especially in summer months. It gives the option of using both fruits and vegetables to enhance its flavor.

Servings: 5 – 6 people
Ingredients for the salad:
- Two to three tomatoes cut in to cubes.
- 3 medium size cucumbers
- 1 full feta cheese bar cut in to cubes. Maximum yield of 2 cups.
- 8 – 10 strawberries cut in to halves
- 1 bunch of romaine lettuce shredded thinly
- 1/2 a cup olive oil
- few drops of lemon
- salt to taste
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika powder
